ASIST is a 2-day program where participants learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.

Dates: 2 Days: Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20, 2026 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Class Format: 14.00 hours approx. over 2 days (in person)

Location: 4Cs Hyannis Center, 540 Main St, Hyannis, MA

Cape Cod Community College has partnered with the Cape and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition and the Cape & Island District Attorney's Office to offer QPR, safeTALK, Mental Health First Aid, Sudden Death Postvention, and ASIST training programs that provide our communities with the necessary information and tools to raise awareness, educate, and increase action to reduce suicides.
