About the Instructor:

Juanita Sweet is a firm believer in the value of a Community College and public education having received her associate degree from Leeward Community College in Hawaii and her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii. She continued to Boston University for her Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. Juanita has been teaching in community colleges since 1983 in Hawaii and at Cape Cod Community College. She also was an instructor for H & R Block as well as a tax preparer. 

Juanita retired as a full professor from CCCC and now teaches online courses. For the past 5 years she has been the accountant/bookkeeper for a nonprofit, Hawaiian Islands Ministries, Inc., in Honolulu. She has spent her adult life moving back and forth between Cape Cod and Hawaii, living in one and vacationing in the other. In September Juanita is moving back to Cape Cod and will spend her vacations in Hawaii.

Sue has an extensive background in Quickbooks/Payroll training, installation and processing.

Sue is a past president of the Rotary Club of Hyannis, current Treasurer of Eventide Arts, Inc. and also involved with various other community organizations.

She currently lives in Dennis with her husband Jack.  They have three grown children and four grandchildren.

The purpose of this course is to teach you how to successfully navigate and use QuickBooks Online as your business' accounting software. However, it's also useful for those who have used previous desktop versions of QuickBooks and want to learn about Quickbooks Online. You'll learn how to use all the features of QuickBooks Online including:

  • Setting up your company in QuickBooks
  • Creating customer & vendor lists
  • Creating and tracking invoices
  • Paying Bills & writing checks

Course Description:

This session will explore additional formulas and functions and address absolute vs. relative cell referencing, multiple worksheets and displaying of data using charts. 

Attendees will learn how to expand their knowledge and use of functions and creation of charts.Topics covered include, but are not limited to: functions in Excel, cell referencing, creating and linking multiple sheets in a workbook, and creating charts.

Who Should Attend?

This session is appropriate for users who need to customize their worksheets, present data through charts, and/or develop long-range spreadsheets for data tracking.

About the Instructor:

Elaine Moore has earned three degrees: Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems. 

She has worked as a Director of Information Technology at the National Graduate School of Quality Systems Management (NGS) in Falmouth, then transitioned to the New England College of Business (NECB) in Boston. While at NECB, she was part of the eLearning Technology department, which created animated and interactive lectures for online classes.

Elaine started classroom teaching for Cape Cod Community College in the Fall semester of 2006 and has been teaching with us ever since! Students enjoy Elaine's friendly and personal demeanor.
