This OSHA 10 safety training is designed for entry-level workers in the trades and is beneficial to ensure individuals are following the correct guidelines for on the job safety.

This 40-hour course contains the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulatory overview, site and safety health plan, job hazard analysis, waste characterization, site investigation/audit, personal protective equipment, air monitoring, decontamination, SCBA use, basic principles of emergency response, introduction to confined space, and chemical hazards vs. physical hazards.

This 8-hour hazwoper refresher course covers the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulation, work-site safety, hazard communication, emergency action plans/contingency plans, fire protection/prevention, back safety and container handling, confined spaces, air monitoring, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory protection.

In Massachusetts, individuals who perform, supervise, or delegate hot work activities—such as welding, cutting, or brazing—must hold a state-approved Hot Work Safety Certificate. To earn the certificate, participants must complete approved training and pass an assessment. The certification is valid for three years and must be renewed upon expiration.

Our Massachusetts state-approved program covers all aspects of the new Hot Work requirements. This 3-hour training meets state guidelines and includes OSHA standards as well as the Hot Work permitting process.

Prepare for the Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer licensing exam with comprehensive training for 1C, Rules & Regulations, 2A, and 3A Hoisting Licenses. Designed to support both new license applicants and current hoisting professionals seeking continuing education, these courses provide the knowledge and skills needed for safe, compliant, and effective equipment operation.

Led by experienced instructors who hold valid Massachusetts hoisting licenses, the training covers equipment operation, safety protocols, maintenance, inspection procedures, hand signals, and applicable state and federal regulations. Students receive comprehensive study materials and practical guidance to build confidence and prepare for the state licensing examination.

The curriculum aligns with applicable Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and OSHA requirements, including:

• Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) 6.00 and 14.00
• OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910

Whether you are entering the field, adding a new hoisting classification, or maintaining an existing license, this training provides a structured pathway to strengthen your knowledge of safe equipment operation and regulatory requirements.

Applicants for a Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License must be at least 18 years old, complete the required application, and successfully pass the state examination administered by the Office of Public Safety and Inspections (OPSI). A minimum score of 70% is required to pass. The examination covers the working components of hoisting machinery, safe operating practices, hand signals, and inspection procedures. Massachusetts hoisting licenses must be renewed every two years.
