Hearing Conservation
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 22 million workers are exposed to potentially damaging noise at work each year. Hearing loss prevention for construction and demolition workers help employers prevent occupational hearing loss among construction and demolition workers and applies to all construction and demolition workers with potential noise exposures (continuous, intermittent and impulse) of 85 decibels, A-weighted (dBA) and above.
This course will cover the following:

• Employers responsibly
• How the ear works
• Basics of sound travel
• Sound monitoring
• Introduction to hearing protection
• Choosing the right hearing protection (Sizing)
• Care and maintenance of hearing protection
• Sound monitoring

OSHA 8 Hazwoper Refresher
This 8-hour hazwoper refresher course covers the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulation, work-site safety, hazard communication, emergency action plans/contingency plans, fire protection/prevention, back safety and container handling, confined spaces, air monitoring, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory protection.
Who Should Attend
This class is for those responsible for workplace safety and building and/or job site management.
