QuickBooks Online for the Workplace (WIT121-65)

QuickBooks Online contains all the features and tools that a small business or contractor would need to keep track of vendors, customers, and financial accounts.
The purpose of this course is to teach you how to successfully navigate and use QuickBooks Online as your business' accounting software. However, it's also useful for those who have used previous desktop versions of QuickBooks and want to learn about Quickbooks Online.

This course focuses on understanding accounting through a mastery of QuickBooks software. Students set up and maintain a QuickBooks accounting records system by recording the transactions necessary to operate a service and merchandising business. This course covers the areas of cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll transactions, budgets, completing the accounting cycle, and being prepared to take the QuickBooks Certified User Exam. Students learn how to create these transactions on a computer and how to understand and interpret the resulting financial reports.
Students need to have a computer with Windows 10. Use Google Chrome as the browser, and have the Microsoft Office Package on their computers.

This interactive session is appropriate for users that need to customize their worksheets, present data through charts, and/or develop long-range spreadsheets for data tracking. Attendees will learn how to expand their knowledge and use of functions and the creation of charts.

Computer Essentials for Beginners

Have no fear, the content of this course will help you to learn the basics of using a personal computer such as understanding the desk top and start menu, and creating and saving a document. You will also get guided exposure to the finer points of computing in Microsoft Word. This is a fun and highly interactive course where students learn through instructor-led hands-on exercises.
Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:
- Identify Windows Ribbons and Bars and demonstrate Window function by utilizing scroll, minimize, restore, resize, move, and close.
- Demonstrate basic Word Processing skills by formatting text into a project such as a list, letter, or flyer.
- Create, save, and organize documents in Files and Folders.
- Build basic Columns & Tables.
- Show basic navigation in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
