Massachusetts Certified Hot Work Training

The Massachusetts Certified Hot Work Training may be taken as a stand-alone program or as a part of our Welding Basics with Hot Work Certification Program.
In Massachusetts, individuals who perform, supervise, or delegate hot work activities—such as welding, cutting, or brazing—must hold a state-approved Hot Work Safety Certificate. To earn the certificate, participants must complete approved training and pass an assessment. The certification is valid for three years and must be renewed upon expiration.
