OSHA 40 Certification

This 40-hour course contains the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulatory overview, site and safety health plan, job hazard analysis, waste characterization, site investigation/audit, personal protective equipment, air monitoring, decontamination, SCBA use, basic principles of emergency response, introduction to confined space, and chemical hazards vs. physical hazards.
Course dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10/14-10/28/2024; 8:30am - 4:30pm

1C, Rules & Regulations, 1B & 3A Massachusetts Hoisting License

Earn your 1B, 1C & 3A Hoisting Licenses with Cape Cod Community College!
We now offer comprehensive 1B, 1C, and 3A Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer Training, ensuring compliance with DPS regulations that require employees operating specific equipment to receive proper training and certification.
This course covers essential topics to help you prepare for the state licensing exam while also offering CEUs for current Hoisting License holders. The curriculum aligns with Massachusetts and OSHA regulations, including:
- Mass General Law 146
- Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) 6.00 & 14.00
- OSHA 29CFR 1926 & 1910
- ANSI B30 Standards
- Massachusetts General Laws 82 sec. 40, 82A, and 164 sec. 76D
Designed for state compliance and federal mandates, this standardized training provides the knowledge and skills necessary for safe and legal specific equipment operation.

This 8-hour hazwoper refresher course covers the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulation, work-site safety, hazard communication, emergency action plans/contingency plans, fire protection/prevention, back safety and container handling, confined spaces, air monitoring, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory protection.
