OSHA 8 Hazwoper Refresher

This 8-hour hazwoper refresher course covers the 29 CFR 1910.120 regulation, work-site safety, hazard communication, emergency action plans/contingency plans, fire protection/prevention, back safety and container handling, confined spaces, air monitoring, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory protection.
Who Should Attend
This class is for those responsible for workplace safety and building and/or job site management.

Excel Beginner Basics
with Elaine Moore

This beginner-friendly, three-session course is designed to help you build a strong foundation in Excel. Across the sessions, you’ll explore Tabs and Ribbons to locate key commands, practice essential keyboard shortcuts, and learn basic formatting tools. You’ll also be introduced to creating formulas using the Order of Operations, as well as building simple worksheets and charts.

Local Anesthesia Refresher
with Denise Bridges

This hands-on local anesthesia course will focus on updating skills in delivering injections. Time will be spent on the Inferior Alvelor Injection, Posterior Superior Alveolar injection and helpful injection technique tips for infiltration and nerve blocks. In order to register for this course, participants must hold current Massachusetts Permit Licensure. Participants must be able to serve as patients and receive as well as administer local anesthesia. 3 CEU's will be awarded upon completion.
You will learn to:
• Practice on our new state of the art local anesthesia simulator program
• Perform local anesthesia techniques commonly used by dental hygienists
• Practice nerve block injections such as inferior alveolar/lingual, mental, greater palatine, nasopalatine• Learn about new anesthetic products
All participants must bring to class:
- Current Dental Hygiene and Permit L licenses
- Copy of malpractice insurance certificate
- Clinical attire (scrub tops and pants, clinical shoes, masks, gloves and safety glasses)
Who Should Attend?
Registered Dental Hygienists in need of continuing education credits (CEU's). Participants must hold current Massachusetts Permit Licensure.

Excel for Self-Taught Users

In this in-person seminar, you'll dive into a variety of Excel tools and functions—both commonly and less frequently used. Topics include freezing and unfreezing cells, applying conditional formatting, and protecting worksheets.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working with different functions, creating multi-sheet workbooks, and linking formulas across sheets. The session will also cover key concepts like Relative vs. Absolute cell referencing, Pivot Tables and Charts, and essential reference functions such as IF and VLOOKUP.

Burnout: Renew Your Energy and Focus
with Elise Phillips

Do you feel like you're burning the candle from both ends? Are you craving time to feel more balance, energy, and excitement? During this zoom session we will explore what burnout is, how it is affecting you, how to acknowledge and manage these feelings, and how to set priorities and boundaries.
We will look at how to notice and reframe the narrative you may be experiencing, and ways to integrate personal time into your daily life so that you feel refreshed and engage with renewed energy. You will leave this session with a plan that includes reframing your thoughts, and goals and strategies for change.
Goal: To understand and manage burnout for renewed energy
